Trippy White Everything

Time bleaches colors into white, fades life into memory, erases line by line til the page is blank again, blows wind until rock erodes.

Everything cloaked in white, timeless, brand new, everlasting, ancient, born yesterday. Everything reduced to a ghostly convalescence, withering and collecting dust as past becomes present, present becomes future, and we all collapse into a speck of light.

Today I walked into the Utrecht Centraal Museum, where a series of incredible exhibitions were on display. This exhibition in particular caught me off guard, just as I was settling into bed. In the museum I took this photo, paused for a few minutes, then walked away. Now I can’t.
